Privacy policy

This policy covers sbdmarketing.agency, its scheduling page, and SBD Marketing's Defense Site Audit plugin for ChatGPT and Codex. SBD Marketing can be reached at info@sbdmarketing.agency.

What we receive

• Inquiries and audit requests: information you submit, such as your name, work email, phone number, firm name, website, practice areas, office address, and message. You can also contact us by email.
• Scheduling: the details you enter to book or change a call, such as your name, email, phone number, business name, chosen time, and any guests you add.
• Site analytics: page path, referrer URL, event name, time on page, browser and device information, screen size, language, and time zone. Our analytics service uses the request IP address and user agent to make a visitor ID that changes daily; it does not store the raw IP address as an analytics field or set an analytics cookie.
• Basic site delivery: our hosting provider receives request information needed to serve pages and protect the site, including an IP address and browser data. The site stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage.

Do not send client names, case facts, passwords, payment card data, government ID numbers, or other sensitive information through our forms or the plugin.

How we use it

We use inquiries to respond, prepare a requested marketing audit, arrange calls, and discuss services you asked about. We use scheduling details to place the meeting on our calendar and send confirmations or reminders. We use site analytics to understand visits, page performance, and form activity. We may use records to protect the site, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

Who receives it

Authorized SBD Marketing personnel can access inquiries and booking records. Netlify hosts this site and processes the audit form. Our scheduling service runs on a SBD Marketing subdomain and uses Google Calendar and Gmail for invitations and email, and Twilio for booking texts and reminders. The audit form can load Google Maps Places when you use business autocomplete. Google Fonts provides the site's web fonts. Our own analytics service runs at analytics.sbdmarketing.agency. We do not sell information submitted through the site.

Links to social networks and other sites lead to services with their own privacy practices. Opening the scheduling page also loads the scheduling service in an embedded frame.

How long we keep it

Website analytics events are deleted after 90 days. Analytics backups rotate over seven days. We currently have no automatic deletion date for inquiry emails, audit form submissions, or booking records, so those records may be kept indefinitely unless you request deletion or a legal obligation requires us to retain them. We will review a deletion request against any records we must keep. Browser theme and analytics opt-out settings remain on your device until you clear them.

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you by emailing info@sbdmarketing.agency. Tell us the email address or phone number you used so we can find the record. We may ask for enough information to verify the request. You may also use any privacy rights available where you live.

To stop SBD's site analytics in this browser, turn off analytics. That choice is stored in this browser and applies to our analytics script on this site. Clearing site storage removes it. You can also block third-party content through your browser settings.

Defense Site Audit plugin

The plugin is a set of instructions and static reference files. It has no SBD-operated server, account connection, or hidden data collection. SBD Marketing does not receive the website URLs, uploaded exports, prompts, or audit reports you use in ChatGPT or Codex unless you separately send them to us. SBD therefore keeps no plugin conversation data. OpenAI handles your use of ChatGPT or Codex under its own terms and privacy settings. A website visited during an audit may receive ordinary web requests from the browser or tool used for that visit.
